Pi and Pi+1

Greetings!

Partial weekend recap is this..

Went for a run Saturday morning.. (9:30ish). It was already hot. Hot. It's April. WTF? I went and ran a nice casual pace.. When I stopped my watch after my run, it read: 3.14. I said "oo! It's never stopped on that before! Pi!" Yes, I am a geek.

I also got to see an old bud from high school (and earlier) on Saturday.. it was good to see him. Been a couple of years, so it's always good to catch up.

Sunday, it was slightly cooler. I wound up doing 4.14 (on purpose). That was too far. ITB cranked up and I wasn't doing well the rest of the day until I slugged down some Advil that night. Oh well.

I took Monday off, even though I wanted to run, just to heal up. Gotta figure this thing out.

Oh, so here's a question for all y'all: Do you have Facebook pages? I've never gotten on this bandwagon. Just curious.. an informal poll, if you will

To swipe a page from Shannon, I've got some posts coming up about:
- Shoes
- Beers
- Scotch
- Travel
- Big news

In the meantime, I'll get back to work listening to some mashups and doing my real (but certainly not as fun as blogging) job. Keep on rockin'!

PS, check out a guy down a pitcher of beer in 5 seconds: video.

can't wait to hear about the big news! yes, to your FB question, there are a lot of bloggers on there. I like it because i've re-found a lot of friends that I had lost touch with when I moved years ago... great way to stay in contact, and makes a lot more sense to me than twitter.

I have facebook. It is addicting and fun at the start, (searching and connecting with old friends).

I have a facebook page but I'm not sure why. I don't except all the "friend" requests from people from highschool who I haven't talked to in years. I think it's so silly that people have hundreds of "friends." I use it for only those people who I'm actually friends with, family, etc. It was fun in the beginning but lost it's luster.

My running partner confessed that he wants to qualify for Boston by running a 3:14:15. I laughed and laughed...

I'm on Facebook and have been for a couple of years. I enjoy it but I'm not obsessed with it. If you can find me on there I'll be your friend. joyRuN and I are FB friends. :)

When I first read that, I thought you meant that you stopped after 3:14. I thought, wow I didn't know you were training for a marathon! Then, when you said you ran 4.14 the next day, I figured it out.

Yes I'm blonde.

Yes, I'm on Facebook.

LMAO at Tammy! "Yes, I'm blonde"!

Hahaha!

I'm not allowed on facebook because Teh 'Bride thinks it's evil, but it's just as well because I already spend too much time f*cking the dog with blogs.

Uh ... except yours! THAT'S not effin the dee, that's time well-spent, brother!

(Whew! Nice save by me!)

I have a Facebook page and it's great for me. I moved across the country and it has allowed me to connect with my friends from my hometown. I still like the blogs better though because people are able to share a lot more on them.

I love big news!

And no, I don't have a Facebook page. I hear it's like crack, and I don't have time for that AND a blog. I'd like ot keep my job.
